Warranty Policy

At Get Set Mobility, we stand behind the scooters we sell. If you have a problem with your purchase, we will help you through the warranty process.

Manufacturer Warranty Information

All products sold by Get Set Mobility are covered under manufacturer warranties provided directly by the brand. Each brand sets its own warranty terms, coverage durations, and exclusions.

Most products carry a manufacturer warranty of 1 to 2 years, though specific coverage varies by brand and product category. Some components may have separate warranty terms within the same product — batteries in particular are often covered for a shorter period than the rest of the scooter.

We strongly encourage you to review the warranty documentation that comes with your product. If you're unsure which manufacturer warranty applies to your purchase, contact us and we'll help you find the details you need.

What Manufacturer Warranties Typically Cover

Coverage varies by brand, but manufacturer warranties on mobility scooters generally cover:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
  • Major component failures within the warranty period
  • Motors and drive systems
  • Frames and structural components
  • Controllers and electronics
  • Batteries, usually under their own separate and shorter coverage period

What Manufacturer Warranties Typically Do Not Cover

Manufacturer warranties generally exclude:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Wear items such as tires and casters
  • Upholstery, seat covers and armrest pads
  • Batteries beyond their separate coverage period
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
  • Damage from exceeding the scooter's stated weight capacity
  • Damage from exposure to water or weather
  • Damage from modifications or use of non-authorized parts
  • Damage from commercial or rental use, unless specifically covered
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

This list is a general guide, not a statement of your specific coverage. Always refer to the warranty documentation supplied with your product for the exact terms that apply to it, or contact us and we will confirm them for you.

How We Support You

Our team is available to help you with:

  • Finding your product's specific warranty details
  • Initiating a warranty claim with the manufacturer
  • Navigating claim requirements and documentation
  • Answering questions about coverage, exclusions, and timelines

We act as your advocate throughout the warranty process. The manufacturer makes the final claim decision, not us — but we will stay with you through it rather than handing you a phone number.

How to File a Warranty Claim

To start a warranty claim, contact us with:

  1. Your order number and date of purchase
  2. The product brand and model
  3. A description of the issue
  4. Clear photos or video of the problem, if applicable

We'll review your information and help you initiate the claim with the manufacturer.
